Terms of use

These terms govern your use of DubaiSchoolGuide.com. They are written to be read, not to be impenetrable - if anything here is unclear, ask and we will explain it.

1. Who we are

DubaiSchoolGuide.com is an independent research guide to private schools in Dubai. It is operated from the United Arab Emirates. Contact: send us a correction or email hello@dubaischoolguide.com.

2. We are independent

We are not affiliated with KHDA, with any school, with any government body, or with any education agency. No school pays to appear in this register, to rank higher in it, or to have information removed from it. We accept no payment for placement of any kind. Where that ever changes, it will be disclosed on the page it affects, before you read it.

3. What this site is, and is not

This is an information service. It is not advice - not educational, financial, legal or professional advice - and nothing here should be treated as a recommendation to choose or avoid a particular school. Choosing a school is your decision and you should verify anything that matters to you directly with the school and with KHDA.

4. Accuracy, and its limits

We publish what we have verified, with the date we checked it, and we publish what we do not know. Even so:

Inspection ratings reflect a school's last full KHDA inspection cycle. KHDA paused full inspections in 2024-25 and 2025-26, so a rating shown here may be several years old.
Fees change, and schools do not always publish them. Where a fee is absent we say so rather than estimating it.
Locations are recorded at district level. We do not hold exact coordinates for any school, and we never present a district centre as a school's address or a commute time.
Any calculation on this site - costs, match scores, distances - is an estimate built from the data described on the page that shows it.

We give no warranty that the information is complete, current or error-free. Confirm anything you intend to rely on with the school itself.

5. Match scores and calculators

The Family Match Score, the cost calculator and similar tools apply a published formula to published data. The formula is shown on the page. They are aids to thinking, not predictions, and they cannot account for anything we do not hold - which each tool states plainly.

6. What you send us

If you submit a correction, an enquiry, or an account of your experience:

You confirm it is accurate to the best of your knowledge and is your own to send.
You grant us permission to publish it in moderated, anonymised form. We never publish your identity or contact details.
We may edit for length and clarity, and we may decline to publish anything.
Do not send anything defamatory, anything naming an individual member of staff, or anything you do not have the right to share. We remove such material.

We do not publish invented reviews, and we do not accept paid or incentivised ones.

7. If you are a school and you disagree with us

You have a right of reply, and we would rather use it than argue.

Tell us it is wrong through the corrections form. We check it against the source. If we are wrong we fix it promptly and log the change publicly.
We will publish your response alongside a disputed entry where you ask us to, in your own words.
We will remove anything we cannot substantiate, anything naming an individual member of staff, and anything a court or competent authority directs us to remove.
What we will not do is delete a KHDA rating, a published fee or an accurate statement because it is unwelcome - and we will never charge a school to correct or remove anything. There is no fee, and no arrangement under which one could exist.

Ratings and fees reported here are drawn from KHDA's published record and from schools' own published material, and are presented as those sources state them.

8. Saved data on your device

Your shortlist, visit notes and admissions tracker are stored in your own browser and never reach us. Clearing your browser data deletes them, and we cannot recover them. Export a copy from the tracker or shortlist page if they matter to you.

9. Other sites

We link to school websites, to KHDA, and to other third parties. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices.

10. Our content

The writing, structure, analysis and design of this site belong to us. You are welcome to quote or link to us with attribution. You may not copy the register wholesale, scrape it, or republish it as your own. Factual data originating from KHDA remains KHDA's.

11. Liability

This site is provided as it is. To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of it, from reliance on information published here, or from its unavailability. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and material changes are noted in the register log.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and the courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction.
