What this guide covers — and what it doesn’t yet
Most school websites tell you what they have. This page tells you what we are missing. Every figure below is calculated from the register when the site is built, so it cannot quietly drift out of date, and it cannot flatter us.
The register
- 169 schools
- 141 with published fees
- 169 inspector summaries
- 169 inclusion judgements
By rating tier
The regulator’s published 2023–24 distribution across all inspected schools was 23 Outstanding, 48 Very Good, 85 Good, 51 Acceptable and 2 Weak — see the official key findings. Our tier counts differ because this register does not yet cover every school in the market.
The gaps, stated plainly
Coverage. Dubai has more private schools than this register lists. Verified findings for several schools outside our current coverage are already researched and waiting — they publish the day those schools enter the register, not before. We never encode a school we cannot page.
Inspector summaries. 0 schools are still unread. A school without a summary is unread, not unjudged — the absence says nothing about the school and everything about how far we have got.
Editorial. Nobody from this guide has walked a corridor or sat in a lesson. Everything here is documentary: regulator ratings, published reports, school websites, checked links. When that changes, this page will say so.
Inspections themselves. Full inspections were paused after 2023–24 and are expected to resume from 2026–27. Where a summary comes from an older cycle, the page says which cycle. When new results publish, this register reconciles within 48 hours and every change is dated on the public log.
How to check us
Open any school page and follow its link to the official report. If a number here is wrong, tell us — corrections are published with the date, including our own mistakes, which you can read in the log. The raw register is public: schools.json.
