  • Very Good since 2018-19 and confirmed again in October 2023 - reached on only its third inspection after two cycles at Good.
  • Foundation Stage rated Outstanding by inspectors, with a strong Primary phase behind it.
  • Judged Outstanding by British Schools Overseas in March 2022 - a second inspectorate at the top level.
  • Inclusive education rated Outstanding, with 128 students of determination supported by the LInK team: NASENCo-qualified SENCOs, speech and language therapists, dyslexia intervention specialists, autism communication specialists, EAL teachers and in-class support assistants.
  • A distinctive community: over 50 nationalities with Emirati students the single largest group at roughly half the roll, plus scholarships for gifts in sport, art, music, performing arts or academics.

What they asked the school to improve:

  • Self-evaluation is rated Very Good, but inspectors ask for more precise documents and clearer procedures for monitoring the effects of improvement actions.

Inclusion (students of determination): Outstanding for provision and outcomes - around 130 students of determination, up significantly from 90 the previous year, supported by the LInK team (Learning Inclusively at Kings’): NASENCo-qualified SENCOs, speech and language therapists, dyslexia intervention specialists, autism communication specialists, English-as-additional-language teachers and in-class learning support assistants, with access arrangements including scribes for examinations. Gifted and talented students receive support alongside, with scholarships available in sport, art, music, performing arts and academics.
