Contacting the school
Ask us and we will ask them

We hold this school's details and put questions to it for parents - fees for a year group, whether there is a place, what happens next. KHDA's own page for the school, linked below, carries its published contact details if you would rather go direct.

Map not loaded. It comes from Google, so nothing is requested from them until you ask for it.

In context

It is one of 52 schools in this guide currently rated Acceptable. As a CBSE school, its academic year runs April to March - plan relocation timing around this.

These comparisons are computed from the verified data in this register, not editorial opinion.

What the inspectors said

Strengths the inspectors named:

  • Acceptable retained in 2023-24, with genuine strengths inspectors recorded: a calm, happy school environment, strong student behaviour and very good attendance.
  • Achievement in Islamic Education good across the school, and English good in the upper phases.
  • The school exceeded its 2021 PIRLS target with an average score of 549, and across English, mathematics and science students improved to a good judgement in benchmark assessments over two years.
  • Real curricular breadth for the fee - an enrichment hour, STEAM integration and second languages including Malayalam, Tamil, French and Hindi - at some of the most affordable tuition in the Indian-curriculum segment.

What they asked the school to improve:

  • This is the register’s most serious set of findings so far: mathematics in the Middle and Secondary phases was downgraded to Weak, and science to Acceptable, with Primary also taking downgrades from Good.
  • Wellbeing is rated Acceptable - inspectors found its leadership underdeveloped, promotion across the school inconsistent, and assessment methods simplistic, with minimal measurable impact.
  • The school cannot open grades beyond Grade 10 until its overall rating improves - so a family joining now must plan where their child will go for Grades 11 and 12.
  • A permanent principal capable of leading the recovery was not appointed until January 2024 - ask what has changed since, and ask to see the improvement plan’s measurable targets.

Inclusion (students of determination): Weak - the lowest inclusion judgement anywhere in this register, and downgraded from Acceptable at the previous inspection. We publish the inspectors’ wording rather than soften it: leaders do not have a cohesive vision for inclusion, systems of accountability and support are insufficient, assessment data are not used effectively to monitor classroom practice and adapt the curriculum, there is insufficient investment in the recruitment of experienced staff, and the school provides limited support for students of determination and for those who are gifted and talented. 62 students of determination are on roll, with 208 teachers, 44 assistants and two guidance counsellors. Fees are among the lowest in Dubai, and the KG phase draws warm parent feedback for its phonics-focused early literacy - both of those are true as well. But a family whose child needs structured, well-resourced learning support should read that inspection wording carefully before applying. See the special educational needs guide for the questions to ask on a visit.

Inspector summaries are being added school by school as each report is read - 221 of 230 so far, dated per cycle, never invented. A school without a summary yet is unread, not unjudged.

What we don't know about this school

Every other page on this site tells you what we have verified. This one tells you what we have not, because a register you cannot calibrate is worth less than one you can. We do not currently hold:

  • its fees - this school has not published them
  • whether it is co-educational, boys or girls
  • how many children are on roll
  • its facilities - sports, arts, science, library
  • published exam results or university destinations
  • what registration, transport, uniform and meals add to the fee
  • the year it opened - the figure we held was wrong on every school we checked

None of it is guessed or filled in from a similar school. Ask for any of it using the form below and it moves up the queue - requests are how we decide what to collect next.

Ask this school a question - we'll do the asking

Tell us the year group, and we will ask Woodlem Park School what it costs, whether there is a place, and what the next step is. Then we send you what they say. Every answer we get is also checked into this school's record, so the next parent finds it already here.

Your details stay with us. We contact the school ourselves, and we do not pass your name or address to them, or to any agent, unless you ask us to. No school pays to appear in this guide, and none can pay to change what it says.

Would rather do it yourself? KHDA's page for this school, linked above, carries the contact details the school has registered with the regulator. We answer requests in the order they arrive, and we will tell you if a school does not reply - which is itself worth knowing before you apply.
