Leadership, staffing and provision can change substantially in that time — see the note below on why every rating in Dubai is older than it looks.
Strengths the inspectors named:
- An affordable UK-curriculum option running the full FS1 to Year 13 pathway, preparing students for London Board examinations in Al Quoz.
- Fees rise gradually rather than sharply through the early years — roughly AED 17,200 in FS1 and still only about AED 17,500 by Years 5 to 7, which makes primary-phase budgeting unusually predictable.
- Led by a principal with long international experience, including senior leadership in Dubai from 2007 and subsequent headships in Spain, Pakistan and Oman.
What they asked the school to improve:
- Acceptable — the bottom of what is permitted, and the honest headline.
- The fee curve steepens sharply in the examination years, and that is the number to plan against. From about AED 19,400 in Year 9 it rises to AED 23,300 in Years 10 and 11, AED 25,300 in Year 12 and AED 29,200 in Year 13 — a jump of roughly 70% from FS1 to Year 13.
- Tuition is not the whole cost: books, utilities and laboratory charges run from about AED 1,600 in FS2 to AED 4,500 in Year 13, with transport, uniforms and external examination fees payable separately.
