Strengths the inspectors named:
- Attainment in English, mathematics and science in Primary and Secondary, with very good progress in Islamic Education and English in Secondary.
- Students' outstanding attitudes, behaviour and relationships, a strong understanding of Islamic values and Emirati culture, and strong environmental awareness.
- The welfare and safeguarding of all students, and the promotion of safe and healthy lifestyles.
- Partnerships with parents, strong links with the community, and very good management, staffing, facilities and resources.
What they asked the school to improve:
- Raise teaching and assessment by sharing the best practice that already exists, matching activities to what students need, and using assessment to plan lessons and lift rates of progress.
- Improve leadership and governance: monitor teaching more robustly, and make sure the data used for self-evaluation is accurate - the report says it is not yet analysed well enough to inform decisions.
