Strengths the inspectors named:
- Good, held consistently since 2013–14 — over a decade at the regulator’s benchmark, in a school established in 1988 and among the best known in Al Nahda.
- Inspectors praise a strong community ethos and high attainment in Secondary science and mathematics, with benchmarking showing strong value-added progress.
- One of the highest proportions of students of determination of any school in Dubai, built on a stated belief that every child is special — and parental partnership named by inspectors as a school strength, through a Governors’ Advisory Board, a Parents as Learners programme and a Parent Support Forum.
- Affordable for a British curriculum at roughly AED 17,400 to 31,400, dually accredited through Pearson Edexcel and Cambridge for IGCSE.
What they asked the school to improve:
- The school is mid-expansion rather than settled: IGCSE began only in 2024–25, A Levels are expected from 2026–27 and Year 13 by 2027–28. There are no IGCSE or A Level results yet — the first cohort graduates in 2026 — so there is nothing to benchmark senior outcomes against.
- Teaching consistency is the published weak point, and it is phase-specific: the early years experience does not match the quality of the secondary phase. A family entering in Foundation Stage or lower Primary should weigh that differently from one entering at Year 7.
- One counsellor to roughly 1,253 students. That is a thin pastoral ratio for a school of this size, and a fair thing to raise if your child may need someone to talk to.
