These findings are from the 2023-24 cycle and are now more than two years old. Leadership, staffing and provision can change substantially in that time - see the note below on why every rating in Dubai is older than it looks.
Strengths the inspectors named:
- Good, held consistently since 2013-14 - over a decade at the regulator’s benchmark, in a school established in 1988 and among the best known in Al Nahda.
- Inspectors praise a strong community ethos and high attainment in Secondary science and mathematics, with benchmarking showing strong value-added progress.
- One of the highest proportions of students of determination of any school in Dubai, built on a stated belief that every child is special - and parental partnership named by inspectors as a school strength, through a Governors’ Advisory Board, a Parents as Learners programme and a Parent Support Forum.
- Affordable for a British curriculum at roughly AED 17,400 to 31,400, dually accredited through Pearson Edexcel and Cambridge for IGCSE.
What they asked the school to improve:
- The school is mid-expansion rather than settled: IGCSE began only in 2024-25, A Levels are expected from 2026-27 and Year 13 by 2027-28. There are no IGCSE or A Level results yet - the first cohort graduates in 2026 - so there is nothing to benchmark senior outcomes against.
- Teaching consistency is the published weak point, and it is phase-specific: the early years experience does not match the quality of the secondary phase. A family entering in Foundation Stage or lower Primary should weigh that differently from one entering at Year 7.
- One counsellor to roughly 1,253 students. That is a thin pastoral ratio for a school of this size, and a fair thing to raise if your child may need someone to talk to.
Inclusion (students of determination): One of the highest proportions of students of determination of any school in Dubai - roughly 19% of the roll, which is among the highest recorded in the UAE. The school’s ethos is built on the stated belief that every child is special, and KHDA inspectors named parental partnership among its strengths. This is, on cohort size alone, one of the most inclusive schools in this register at an affordable British-curriculum fee. Two things to establish: the counsellor ratio is about 1:1,253, and teaching consistency is weaker in the early years than in secondary.
