These findings are from the 2023-24 cycle and are now more than two years old. Leadership, staffing and provision can change substantially in that time - see the note below on why every rating in Dubai is older than it looks.
Strengths the inspectors named:
- In Muhaisnah 1 - one of the emirate’s longest-standing Ministry of Education curriculum schools, running KG1 to Grade 12 in both English and Arabic.
- Islamic Education and Arabic as a first language are the academic standouts, rated Good for attainment and progress across all four cycles - KG, Cycle 1, Cycle 2 and Cycle 3.
- Personal responsibility and understanding of Islamic values rated Very Good across every phase - a genuine distinction, and the clearest strength inspectors identified.
- Among the most affordable options in Muhaisnah and in Dubai generally, at roughly AED 9,200 to 13,500.
- Cycle 3 offers both general and advanced streams, with enrichment strategies beginning to appear - noted positively by inspectors.
What they asked the school to improve:
- Acceptable held consistently since 2016, following two years rated Weak in 2014-15 and 2015-16 - a real recovery, and then a plateau at the least KHDA accepts.
- External examinations run through the MoE framework only - no IGCSE, IB or AP qualifications are offered. If your child may move to an international pathway or apply outside the region, understand that constraint before Grade 9, not after.
- Ask what the improvement plan funds this year and whose job it is for moving beyond Acceptable.
Inclusion (students of determination): Acceptable in KHDA’s published key findings, with both Dubai focus areas also Acceptable. Beyond that we have not verified a cohort figure or team structure and we will not invent one. Two questions matter particularly here: instruction runs in both English and Arabic, so ask how support is delivered for a child who needs learning support in both languages at once; and because the school offers no IGCSE, IB or AP route, ask what alternative accredited pathway exists for a student who cannot access the MoE examination track.
