These findings are from the 2023-24 cycle and are now more than two years old. Leadership, staffing and provision can change substantially in that time - see the note below on why every rating in Dubai is older than it looks.
Strengths the inspectors named:
- Over 95% of its 873 students hold UAE nationality, with an explicit mission to deliver an American education guided by Arabic principles and Islamic values - a purpose-built option for Emirati families.
- Close to 60 teachers recruited alongside a large team of learning assistants and specialist staff as the school grows.
- All-inclusive fees of roughly AED 30,600-45,900 covering transport, uniform and extra-curricular activities - unusual in Dubai, and simpler to budget against.
- A subsidy calculator published for UAE national families to assess fee support based on income and emirate of residence.
What they asked the school to improve:
- Acceptable on first inspection, and wellbeing was also rated Acceptable: staff training impact is variable, and students and parents have only a basic means of raising wellbeing issues with limited ways to influence the school’s wellbeing vision.
- The school relocated from Mirdif to Al Khawaneej for 2024-25, and was inspected under its previous name - so the report predates the current campus.
- High school was due to open in 2026-27, with grades added annually; KHDA’s directory still lists KG1 to Grade 8 as of September 2026, subject to approval - nothing about the senior phase is yet proven.
Inclusion (students of determination): The school states that it prides itself on being inclusive and welcomes all students, promising high-quality education for all children including gifted children and those requiring more learning support. That is the school’s own position; we have not found a separately published KHDA inclusion rating for this campus in verified sources and say so rather than infer one. Context that matters: over 95% of its 873 students hold UAE nationality, the school is currently rated Acceptable overall, and the Dubai Schools partnership exists specifically to help Dubai reach 100% of Emirati students in Good-or-better schools - a bar this campus has not yet cleared.
