What the inspectors said
Paraphrased from KHDA's inspection report for 2023-24 - read the complete report on KHDA's page for this school. These findings are from the 2023-24 cycle and are now more than two years old; leadership, staffing and provision can change substantially in that time.
Strengths the inspectors named:
- Students' knowledge and understanding of Islamic values and of Emirati and world cultures, particularly in Cycle 3.
- Responsible attitudes and respectful relationships, contributing to a strong and positive ethos.
- Improved achievement in mathematics in Cycle 2.
What they asked the school to improve:
- Strengthen safeguarding by improving how students are dismissed at the end of the day and how visitors' entry to the school is managed. Safeguarding appearing in the recommendations at all is worth noticing, and worth asking what changed.
- Raise the quality of teaching by setting higher expectations and adding challenge.
- Sharpen improvement planning around priorities, measurable outcomes and follow-up.
- Build the capacity of middle leaders to improve teaching and learning.
Inclusion (students of determination): Acceptable in KHDA's directory and its 2023-24 ratings table. 23 students of determination out of 1,471 - under 2%, among the lowest proportions in this register, which is itself a question to put to the school. Inspectors record accurate assessment tools and an emerging 'individual academic passport', but say individual education plans currently focus on general targets. See the special educational needs guide for the questions to ask on a visit.
Context: 1,471 students with 72 teachers - a ratio of about 1:20.

What we don't know about this school
Every other page on this site tells you what we have verified. This one tells you what we have not, because a register you cannot calibrate is worth less than one you can. We do not currently hold:
- its fees - this school has not published them
- whether it is co-educational, boys or girls
- how many children are on roll
- its facilities - sports, arts, science, library
- published exam results or university destinations
- what registration, transport, uniform and meals add to the fee
- the year it opened - the figure we held was wrong on every school we checked
None of it is guessed or filled in from a similar school. Ask for any of it using the form below and it moves up the queue - requests are how we decide what to collect next.
Ask this school a question - we'll do the asking
Tell us the year group, and we will ask The National Charity School for Girls what it costs, whether there is a place, and what the next step is. Then we send you what they say. Every answer we get is also checked into this school's record, so the next parent finds it already here.
Your details stay with us. We contact the school ourselves, and we do not pass your name or address to them, or to any agent, unless you ask us to. No school pays to appear in this guide, and none can pay to change what it says.
