Strengths the inspectors named:
- Very Good retained in the January 2024 inspection round, confirming the February 2023 result - students’ achievements good or better in all subjects, with Outstanding outcomes in Diploma English.
- An Outstanding curriculum in most areas, meeting the needs of almost all students including students of determination, with distinctive pathways such as the Francophone programme.
- Outstanding commitment to health, safety, child protection and care: CCTV, 24-hour security, systematically rehearsed evacuation drills, stringent risk assessments for external activities and strictly managed transport safety.
- Wellbeing Very Good and embedded - leaders gather comprehensive data, curriculum planning is customised to a range of wellbeing needs, and inclusion sits inside the school’s core mission statements.
- A full IB continuum from Pre-KG to Grade 12 including the Career-related Programme.
What they asked the school to improve:
- The Diploma profile is solid in the middle rather than top-heavy: around 74% of students scored 30 or more points in 2025 and 70% in 2024, while 40-plus scores have generally run between 3% and 5%.
- Inspectors noted that while many students interact productively in groups, some are reluctant to participate, and some are still building confidence in English - worth asking how quieter students are drawn in.
- Islamic Education, Arabic and English development is credited as improving, which is the same way of saying it was the area needing work.
Inclusion (students of determination): Inclusion is embedded in the school’s key mission statements, with well-developed policies and plans that successfully support students with complex needs, and a curriculum inspectors judged Outstanding in most areas for meeting the needs of almost all students including students of determination. The structural fact that underpins it: the school is non-selective, and its operator, Taaleem, led the drive to inclusive education in Dubai.
