What the inspectors said
Paraphrased from KHDA's inspection report for 2019-20 - read the complete report on KHDA's page for this school. These findings are from the 2023-24 cycle and are now more than two years old; leadership, staffing and provision can change substantially in that time.
Strengths the inspectors named:
- Students' excellent attitudes and behaviour, contributing to a positive learning environment across all phases.
- Very good appreciation and respect for the UAE, knowledge of Emirati culture and application of Islamic values.
- The high priority given to health and safety, with leaders immediately responsive to keeping students safe.
- The quality of teaching and learning in the high school, leading to improved progress in most key subjects.
- An inclusive ethos that facilitates excellent care and support for all students, including students of determination.
What they asked the school to improve:
- Improve teaching in the elementary school and Kindergarten, giving children practical materials and multiple ways to build concepts and skills.
- Hold consistently high expectations, bridge gaps in learning and provide challenge at all times.
- Promote the development of reading and literacy.
Inclusion (students of determination): Good in KHDA's directory and its 2023-24 ratings table. 42 students of determination out of 544. This is one of the more positive inclusion sections in the register: an inclusive admission policy that enrols a diverse range of needs, an inclusion champion running robust monitoring, assessment that accurately identifies barriers and is used to plan interventions and specialist provision, and parents who collaborate on planning and reviewing their children's programmes. See the special educational needs guide for the questions to ask on a visit.
One caveat on the rating: KHDA's directory records this school's inspection year as 2019-20, older than almost anything else here, so treat the judgement as dated and read the report itself. 544 students with 63 teachers, 182 of them Emirati.

What we don't know about this school
Every other page on this site tells you what we have verified. This one tells you what we have not, because a register you cannot calibrate is worth less than one you can. We do not currently hold:
- its fees - this school has not published them
- whether it is co-educational, boys or girls
- how many children are on roll
- its facilities - sports, arts, science, library
- published exam results or university destinations
- what registration, transport, uniform and meals add to the fee
- the year it opened - the figure we held was wrong on every school we checked
None of it is guessed or filled in from a similar school. Ask for any of it using the form below and it moves up the queue - requests are how we decide what to collect next.
Ask this school a question - we'll do the asking
Tell us the year group, and we will ask International School of Arts and Sciences what it costs, whether there is a place, and what the next step is. Then we send you what they say. Every answer we get is also checked into this school's record, so the next parent finds it already here.
Your details stay with us. We contact the school ourselves, and we do not pass your name or address to them, or to any agent, unless you ask us to. No school pays to appear in this guide, and none can pay to change what it says.
