What is known and committed:

  • Harrow’s Dubai campus, opened jointly by Taaleem and Harrow School in the UK for the 2026-27 academic year, alongside a sister school in Abu Dhabi.
  • A 50,000 square metre site on Hessa Street with capacity capped at 2,000 students, positioned for Dubai Marina, Emirates Hills and Palm Jumeirah families.
  • Specialist facilities planned across science, performing arts and creative hubs, with dedicated STEAM areas for both Prep and Senior students, an auditorium and premium sport.
  • 450 years of institutional heritage behind the brand, and Taaleem’s established UAE operating record.

What is not yet proven:

  • No KHDA rating exists and none will for several years - nothing here has been independently inspected.
  • Super-premium pricing, with early-years fees comparable to North London Collegiate, plus obligatory ‘Harrow Table’ meal charges running from roughly AED 6,650 in FS1 to AED 13,440 by Year 6, which sit on top of tuition and belong in your budget.
  • Everything is a plan until the school opens: the campus was under construction, and final KHDA technical approvals follow initial approval.
  • A founding cohort carries real risk as well as real opportunity - ask what happens to your child if enrolment targets are missed.

Inclusion (students of determination): No KHDA inspection has taken place and none will for several years, so there is no regulator judgement of inclusion here - but there is more verifiable signal than most new schools offer. The school has appointed Jason Todd as Director of Inclusion, currently Director of Inclusion at Yasmina British Academy in Abu Dhabi and Group Lead of Inclusion at Aldar Education, where he holds responsibility for compliance and strategic direction across twelve schools, with fifteen years in SEND. Appointing a group-level inclusion lead before opening is a meaningful commitment rather than a brochure line. The school also states it will be non-selective and academically inclusive with a deliberately broad intake. Judge both as intent: neither has been tested with children in the building.
