We hold this school's details and put questions to it for parents - fees for a year group, whether there is a place, what happens next. KHDA's own page for the school, linked below, carries its published contact details if you would rather go direct.

Map not loaded. It comes from Google, so nothing is requested from them until you ask for it.

What the inspectors said

Strengths the inspectors named:

  • Good on its third inspection in 2023-24, with three core-subject ratings improved to Very Good and Diploma English rated Outstanding.
  • The Primary Years Programme identified as a particular strength, with every core-subject rating across the school now at least Good.
  • Notable improvement in Arabic and Islamic Studies - almost all of those ratings moved up this cycle, which is unusual and worth crediting.
  • Wellbeing a clear priority for governors and leaders: annual student surveys, weekly check-ins, a dedicated wellbeing team, student council, wellbeing champions and a counsellor, with an open-door approach parents value.
  • Part of the Dwight family whose New York original was the first all-through IB school in the United States, and now under its direct management from a purpose-built Sports City campus.

What they asked the school to improve:

  • Wellbeing overall is rated Good rather than Very Good - strong structures, with outcomes still to catch up.
  • A young school on its third inspection and second campus: ask how the move and the change of management have bedded in.
  • Good overall means most measures sit at Good - the Very Good and Outstanding marks are still the exception, not the pattern.

Inclusion (students of determination): The Quest Programme is the school’s inclusion structure, and its scope is broader than most: it supports students of determination, students with gifts and talents, twice-exceptional students - those who are both gifted and have a learning difficulty, a group very few schools name at all - and students with English language needs, through targeted interventions delivered inside the common learning environment. Approximately 25% of students receive additional support, of whom 7% are on the SEND register and a similar proportion are identified as gifted and talented, with around 11% receiving English as an Additional Language support. Wellbeing is rated Good, with governors and senior leaders treating it as a clear priority, annual student surveys and weekly check-ins informing planning, and a dedicated wellbeing team working alongside teachers. See the special educational needs guide for the questions to ask on a visit.

Inspector summaries are being added school by school as each report is read - 221 of 230 so far, dated per cycle, never invented. A school without a summary yet is unread, not unjudged.

What we don't know about this school

Every other page on this site tells you what we have verified. This one tells you what we have not, because a register you cannot calibrate is worth less than one you can. We do not currently hold:

  • whether it is co-educational, boys or girls
  • how many children are on roll
  • its facilities - sports, arts, science, library
  • published exam results or university destinations
  • what registration, transport, uniform and meals add to the fee
  • the year it opened - the figure we held was wrong on every school we checked

None of it is guessed or filled in from a similar school. Ask for any of it using the form below and it moves up the queue - requests are how we decide what to collect next.

Ask this school a question - we'll do the asking

Tell us the year group, and we will ask Dwight School Dubai what it costs, whether there is a place, and what the next step is. Then we send you what they say. Every answer we get is also checked into this school's record, so the next parent finds it already here.

Your details stay with us. We contact the school ourselves, and we do not pass your name or address to them, or to any agent, unless you ask us to. No school pays to appear in this guide, and none can pay to change what it says.

Would rather do it yourself? KHDA's page for this school, linked above, carries the contact details the school has registered with the regulator. We answer requests in the order they arrive, and we will tell you if a school does not reply - which is itself worth knowing before you apply.
