What is known and committed:
- Opened August 2025 in Emaar’s Mira community as the fourth DBS campus, initially FS1 to Year 6, with fees of roughly AED 51,500 to AED 58,800 for the primary years.
- Founding Principal Amy Falhi joined from the vice principalship of DBS Jumeirah Park, and Head of Primary George Stokes came from The Arbor School - leadership drawn from inside the group and from a school known for outdoor and environmental learning, which is a more meaningful signal than branding.
- Substantial facilities from the outset: a 25-metre competition pool, training pool, sports halls, courts and playing fields, with specialist music, drama and digital arts studios.
- A genuine neighbourhood school for Mira, Town Square and Arabian Ranches families, with a school bus network worth checking against your exact address.
What is not yet proven:
- No KHDA rating yet, and its sibling campuses’ Outstanding ratings are not transferable to this one.
- Year 9 is scheduled to open only in 2027-28, with further year groups annually and sixth-form fees expected in the AED 50,000-80,000 bracket - so the all-through pathway is a plan, not a provision.
- An honest fit note: families whose children need highly specialised SEND provision should ask exactly what a developing inclusion team can currently deliver, and get the answer in writing.
Inclusion (students of determination): 54 students receiving SEND provision, with numbers described as deliberately kept manageable while systems are embedded. Support is largely push-in, delivered in the classroom alongside the student rather than in a separate space, structured as Quality First Teaching, then targeted support in-class or pull-out, then specialist support from external speech and language or occupational therapists. The team is a Director of Inclusion, two inclusion teachers, an inclusion learning support assistant and a school counsellor, with plans to expand as enrolment grows. The school itself describes inclusion as an area of active development rather than a finished model - an unusually candid position, and the reason families needing highly specialised SEND provision should ask exactly what is available today.
